The villa is situated in a tourist area with cultural activities which offers many possibilities: mountain biking, cycling, tennis, horse riding, caving, canoeing, canyoning and of course swimming in the splendid gorges of the surroundings. The region is rich in archaeological heritage, many weekly markets are organized, especially the one in Barjac on Fridays.
You will be able to shop at leisure in the garage sales of the neighbouring villages ("International Antiques and Flea Market Fair" of Barjac at Easter and around August 15th, "Barjac m'en chante" at the end of August and beginning of July and "Barjac en Jazz" at the end of August).

Barjac
The villa is 5 km away from Barjac, a small southern town, situated between the Gorges de l'Ardèche and the Cèze Valley, famous for its weekly Friday market, its night market in July and August, its bucolic squares and fountains and its Easter and mid-August flea markets.
Vallon-Pont-d’Arc
Vagnas is located 10 km from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, famous for its canoeing/kayaking activities and very close to the very famous Grotte de Chauvet and the Aven d'Orgnac (7 km away), as well as the Grotte de la Madeleine. The place also attracts many cyclists and sportsmen of all kinds.
Ruoms & Chassezac
The accommodation is located 15 km from Ruoms, the kingdom of climbing, near the famous Château des Roure (4 km away), with its silk farm and eco-museum. Swimming enthusiasts will also appreciate the numerous rivers and the Chassezac gorges.
Uzès
Vagnas is 45 minutes from Uzès (medieval town), close to Vogüé, Aiguèze and Balazuc (among the most beautiful villages in France).
